Our Journey

Building the first van was the beginning of what would become Light Travelers. In the early days, Christopher and Maria dedicated themselves to building fully-customized vans, offering their customers tailor-made models to suit their unique vision of the outdoor life. This experience led to the design of the pre-engineered Atacama and Patagonia models, inspired by Chile's northernmost desert and southernmost mountain landscapes, to appeal to a wide audience of adventurers.

With over five years of experience and more than 40 vans built, we have the research and development experience to develop state-of-the-art innovations. These include the signature Bed Lift and a complete line of accessories designed for the Mercedes Benz Sprinter van and the needs of outdoor living. Based in Huntington Beach, CA, Light Travelers specializes in quality craftsmanship, delivering a sleek look and polished finish for a stylish and durable vehicle that is both fully equipped for the outdoors and the comfort and enjoyment of staying indoors.
